Life with 2!!

So I just realized that I haven't really said anything about the whole birthing process so here you go. We went into the hospital at 6:00 am while Nathan slept quietly at home with my 2 sisters and my mom. They got my IV in and my blood drawn and DR came in and gave us the run down and he was ready to go by like 7:15 am but the nurses weren't. They started my spinal at 7:36 they cut at 7:46 and Benjamin Cooper Gibson was born at 7:52 am weighing 7 lbs 6oz and he was 20 in. Kev actually got it on video. I heard him scream and they showed him to me for a second. All I could see were his giant feet and hands but he was still cute. Kevin and Ben were whisked off to get all cleaned up while they sewed me shut. I was back in my room and holding Ben by 8:35 am. It all went really good. My sisters brought Nathan up to see us around 9:30am. He was kinda overwhelmed with me still being hooked up to everything and he didn't want to talk to me or the baby but all that has changed now. He loves both of us again. Nathan has had hard time the past couple of days with life in general but my friend Natalie came and got him and took him swimming and that helped a ton. Thanks Natalie I don't know what I would do without you. I think he will adjust once we get back to some sort of schedule. Ben has been a dream baby ( knock on wood) he barely ever cries and when he does it just because he's hungry. I on the other hand cry all the time for nothing. Stupid hormones. I love both of my boys they are both so fun and cute. I am so lucky to have Kevin as a husband. He took 2 weeks off of work and is the biggest help. I love him he's also cute and fun.

Almost Almost There!!

So now I only have 3 days left. I'm so excited I can barely stand it. I'm trying to get my house in order and everything figured out with Nathan so he can come and see the baby in the hospital and still try and keep things semi normal for him. I will post a pic of my huge belly so you can all point and laugh later. Wish me luck!!

Tator Baby

I was just looking through all my pictures and I almost forgot what Tator looked like when he was a little smaller. He is so cute I can't believe that he is my baby. It makes me wonder what little Ben is going to look like. Atleast that's what we think we are going to name him. They also make me think where the time has gone. I cannot believe Nathan is 2 and a half and that we are 15 days away from having another baby. Crazy stuff. I am totally ready to be done being pregnant. I'm going to try and focus on just enjoying this baby instead of hoping for the "next step". I think nathan is going to be a great big brother. He loves babies and keeps asking me when we are going to go to the Hospital and get his baby.

Being a 2 year old

So the last couple of weeks Nathan has proven he is 2. At playgroup he and his friend Ashy and Nathan likes to call him decided it would be a good idea to color all over my friend Hilary's house with marker. It was every where on the tv, the furniture and the piano. Luckily it was washable. Sorry about that Hilary. Then the next week we decided to have playgroup at a park and the kids all found this puddle to play in. As you can tell Tator thought it would be a good idea to lay down in the puddle. Oh well at least he had fun right!!!

Almost there!!

So it's been awhile since I have posted. We haven't been taking many pictures because I'm too lazy to get the camera mostly. We went to the Bees baseball game with our friends and had lots of fun even though it was raining really bad. Nathan keeps wanting to go again. We also went to the zoo and it rained there also but we still had fun. I am so greatful for my friends that call me and get me out of the house. I would probably go crazy and I know Nathan would. He loves all his little friends even though sometimes he doesn't show it. I am only 27 days from having this baby!! I'm so excited to have another baby. For a long time I thought that I wouldn't even be able to have one now we are blessed to have 2. I thought for a minute we were going to have this baby about 2 weeks ago. I was having contractions about 3-6 minutes apart for at least 2 hours so we went up to the hospital and they gave me a shot to stop them and sent me on my way. It's been fine every since. The Dr scheduled my c-section for July 9th but he said if I go in again contracting we would just do it then so I know for sure that at the most we have 27 days. We are still on the fence about names so any suggestions would be awesome.
