Curly Mullet and the Gang

This is a super funny picture I found the other day. This is Me (the one in front with the sweet curly mullet), my cousin Emily who I know reads my blog and I hope this pic will brighten her day, my cousin Holly who I think also reads it sometimes, my cousin Darcy and my cousin Bree. I'm not sure who the girl in the red shirt is but I remember her being around alot. We were all around the same age and we had really good fashion sense don't you think.

When I remember I try and take pictures of the Ben when he is wearing something I know I have a picture of Nate wearing the same thing. So here's another who's who game. I think it's getting easier to tell them apart but maybe it's just cause I'm their mom.

Baby Blessing

Sunday was Ben's big day. My mom and I went to pick out his blessing outfit and we got it home and I tried it on him and it wouldn't fit over his big melon. Both my boys have very cute but very giant heads. Ben ended up wearing Nathans which was totally fine with me. It made me realize how much they really do look alike. Kevin gave Ben a wonderful blessing. I was a little stressed about the lunch but it turned out really good. Thanks for coming everyone and thanks for helping out. I couldn't have done it without you.

Thanksgiving Point

I have been a lot more active after having Ben than I was with Nathan. I think it's because I have a toddler that needs to get out of the house. The other day we went to Thanksgiving Point to the animal farm. The Kids loved it. Here is Nathan, Macie and Ellie looking at chicks and riding a plastic cow very funny don't you think? I always wonder if Nathan will still be friends with these cute girls when he is in High school :) I also wonder if they will still call him Tator. We got to go on a wagon ride. I was pointing things out for Tator to look at while on the ride and all he wanted look at was the poopie horse. He kept saying look mom a poopie horse. Whatever makes him happy right???

SO TIRED

Lately I have been so tired I can barely move. Ok not that bad but pretty bad. Having 2 kids has done me in. I don't know how people have tons of kids. My mom had 8 and I cry just thinking about how tired that would make a person. I keep telling myself that it's just sleep and it's not that important but I just love sleep. If you were to ask me what my favorite pass time is my answer would be sleep. I sometimes wake up in the morning planning when I can go to sleep next. This does not really work with a 2 year old and a new borns schedule. Nathan decided to stop taking his 3 hour naps as soon as Ben was born, sad huh. It's not like Ben is even a bad baby. He's not sleeping through the night but sometimes he sleeps for 6-7 hours at a time and then he will go right back to sleep. I have this worrying problem. I wake up about a million times a night to make sure he's breathing and to check on Nathan. Kevin says I make up stuff to worry about. Sometimes I think he's right. This does not help in the sleep department. I lay awake at night thinking about the dumbest things like what I would say if someone this to me or what I should have said in a conversation. I look at the clock every few minutes thinking if I could just fall asleep now I would get this much sleep and then do the same thing 30 minutes later silly me. Sometimes I wish I could just shut my brain off. I have even tried working out the last few days thinking that will make me so tired I will just fall right to sleep no such luck. I have had this love for sleep ever since I can remember. When I was younger I could sleep all day wake up eat and go back to sleep for the night. Boy do I miss those days sometimes. Ok I'll stop. This is probably making whoever reads my blog tired. Happy sleeping!!

Tator or Ben???

So far the boys look pretty much the same. Everyone see if you can guess who is who!! Both boys have been awesome lately. Nathan is adjusting. Ben is sleeping really well one night he slept 7 hours and last night he slept 6 and he goes right back to sleep after he eats. He's a really happy baby knock on wood. Nathan seems so much older now that Ben is here. His favorite thing to say is "guess what? chicken butt" Thanks to Kevin.
